How do I change my cPanel Password?
Print- 0
In order to change your cPanel password, you *must* change this from within your client area and *not* from within cPanel itself. If you change your cPanel password from within cPanel, your account will fail to synchronize properly and you will be locked out of the control panel when you click the "login to cPanel" button from within the client area.
- Log into the client area.
- Go to your services area and click the details button/icon.
- From there, you should be able to view and/or change your password by clicking the "Change Password" tab.
This is specific to each control panel instance you have. If you have multiple control panels (unless you are a reseller), then you'll have a different password for each cPanel. If you need further assistance, please open a support ticket from within the client area.
