How do I password protect a directory?

- Log in to your cPanel account.
- Find and click the "Leech Protection" option under the "Security" section.

3. You will be prompted to choose the directory location. The default setting is suitable for most users.
4. Select the folder you want to protect.
5. Enter the required details:
- Password protect this directory - Enable or disable password protection.
- Name the protected directory - Provide a label for the protected folder.
- Click the "Save" button to apply the directory settings.
- Add user credentials to grant access to the directory:
- Username - Create a username for access.
- Password - Set a password for the user.
- Password (Again) - Confirm the password.
6. Click the "Add/Modify Authorized User" button to save the user credentials.
