Why was my credit card declined?
Print- 0
Credit card declines can occur for various reasons. When a payment is processed, your bank uses automated systems to decide whether to approve or reject the transaction. These systems evaluate multiple factors such as your spending patterns, available balance, and card details including expiration date and CVC. Since these factors can change over time, a card that previously worked may still be declined in the future.
When a transaction is declined, we display any information provided by your bank. However, most decline messages are generic, so specific details are often unavailable. If your card details are correct and the issue persists, it is recommended to contact your bank directly for clarification and request that future transactions be authorized.
Please note that due to banking privacy policies, detailed reasons for declined transactions are usually not shared with us.
